  • visual motion illusion without physical cues
  • latency / refresh rate(?)
    few complain of nausea from 24fps film (72fps shutter)
  • Vergence-accommodation conflict
Issues (for me)
  • NOT nausea
  • without passthru:  frequent need to remove, reinstall HMD
  • prescription eyeglasses may not fit
  • switching between (misplaced?) eyeglasses
    and HMD with prescription inserts
  • VR hand controllers are aggravating, easily misplaced
    and unsuitable for virtual desktop or sims
  • custom objects (props) can be introduced to VR
    (e.g. games) by rendering STL without passthru cameras
  • passthru cameras are wanted for real time random objects
    in games or virtual objects (desktops) into real space
  • bonus:  generate 3D videos from binocular passthru cameras
