- Known Issues
(thanks, bkdc) To avoid conflicts: before installing VR1 Tools,
launch any other apps that also use COM ports (e.g. SimHub)
Many VR1 Tool functions do not work until VR1 is driven by SteamVR
or some OpenXR app (e.g. demo)
Large FoV demands more from your PC; reducing those settings improves performance.
120Hz may cause image artifacts on some PCs.
Somnium OpenXR Runtime currently does not support VR controllers.
OpenXR Spacewarp is experimental, may not work on all setups.
→ (SteamVR reprojection is entirely separate.)
MSFS 2024: repeated switching between Desktop and VR may drop FPS;
→ restart MSFS 2024 if this happens
VR1 upscaling and sharpening no longer work in SteamVR, except in overlays.
Leftover/active legacy VRG device services conflict with Somnium components;
→ stop services and uninstall
Render resolution slider may stick full right (max) but report "0";
→ Restarting PC or VR1 may help;  code change coming soon...
ReShade disables eye tracking calibration
System-level prompt breaks virtual desktop until Windows reboot.
Occasional random Virtual Desktop freezes - to be fixed in the next update.
VR1 graphics initialization failure with multiple monitors attached to that GPU.
