(to be fixed soon)
- specific applications including DCS crash
- with "NVIDIA Image Scaling SDK v1.0.3 (sharpen only)"
selected in the Mixed Reality - General page
- instead, select "AMD FidelityFX" or "NVIDIA Image Scaling"
- Virtual Desktop "not working"
most often, wrong Virtual Desktop position, e.g. behind you...
To work around, use Reset Position - Reset button
on Settings - Virtual Desktop page, after VD is enabled.
- Almalence plugin (for Pimax) causes crashes
2-6 June Beta 4 release planned
with all run time improvements and implementations
CURRENT
VR1 Tool 1.0.3.43 remains fully operational
(updates automatically from 1.0.2.41)
Beta feedback:
- (@nEuDy) VR1 tool installation sets
driver_vrg
instead of driver_somnium in steamvr.vrsettings file,
but Beta VR1 Tool installs somnium instead of vrg
in Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\
then VR1 Tool reporting "SteamVR Driver: Not installed".
- (@nEuDy) run e.g.
hello_xr.exe to perform eye calibration
before starting a game.
- (@Artur) only grey displayed in VR1 means SteamVR is rendering,
which should not happen when running VR1 OpenXR runtime
- in SteamVR main menu - Startup / Shutdown - Manage Add-Ons:
- turn off both somnium and vrg add-ons
- (@DarkestKnight) Stable firmware cannot be flashed to Ultimate without the MR cables plugged in
