Final assembly next week, personally inspected and approved by Artur. Customer headsets differ from Connect headsets by 1-2 week EU certification delay;   U.S. possible unit shipments first - second week of September. Plans are in place for 2 shifts of production. Local dimming estimate is for October or November. Next update probably in the beginning of September. Final tests with VR Opticians are happening.  Ordering should open about the same timeline as first or second customer unit batch. Anchor point 3D files will be released this month along side first shipments. They will try to release them earlier. Somnium VR1 - Production Update (August 16th, 2024), VR Optician insert lenses & more Plastic for eye tracking camera mount are out of tolerance by submillimeter, risking throwing off focus. New parts are expected from supplier in 2-2.5 weeks, not impacting shipments still gated by certification completion. Eyebox production is still slower than anticipated but improving. Second production shift to be added in September and October. VR Optician prescription lenses for Somnium VR1 are almost ready for release. Different versions for VR1 with and without eye tracking.
