Copy stand camera hanger
In the dark ages,
when digital cameras were more about convenience than image quality,
I acquired a copy stand
cheaper but less rigid than e.g. Charles Krebs':

1.5" o.d. chromed tube flex
requires remote shutter release;
its pantograph camera mount and Manfrotto 454 add too much
lost motion for consistent focus bracketing.
Repurposed LAMPHUS Cruizer clamps
rigidly attach a focus bracketing rail.
Clamps include elastomer spacers
for 1", 1.5" and 1.75" o.d. tubing,
and screws too short to engage
designated spacers, as reviewers noted.
Instead, pair 1.5 and 1.75 spacer halves:
